Everyone knows the thrill of speeding down a snowy hill, the pride of seeing your finished snow fort completely built by hand, and the cold, harsh sting of a snowball hitting you in the face.

In the most recent poll 50 I.S. student and teachers were asked their favorite snowy day activities. The top six were sledding, snowball fights, skiing, hot chocolate drinking, snowboarding, and making snow forts.

Sledding was most popular, in first place with fifteen votes. Snowball fights came in second with seven votes. Skiing came in third place with six votes, hot chocolate drinking came in fourth with five votes, snowboarding came in fifth with four votes, and snow forts came in sixth with three votes.

Other things that people mentioned but did not get into the top six include tubing, snowman making, staying inside, snow cone making, catching snowflakes on your tongue, and making snow angels.
